 to get free, on-demand help from qualified tutors
through Homework Help NJ, an online tutoring service from the New Jersey
State Library, supported by a cornerstone grant from PSEG.
 

State of New Jersey Revises High School Graduation Requirements!
 
The state Board of Education has proposed new graduation requirement guidelines for high schools in New Jersey.
Under the proposal revealed  students will need:
  • Four years of language arts;
  • Three years of math, science, social studies;
  • One year of career education, art and a foreign language class;
  • A half-year of financial, economic and entrepreneurial literacy;
  • And yearly physical education classes.

DROP-IN TUTORING
Available for all students, Mondays through Thursdays in rooms 102
and 103 from 2:25pm until 3:20pm

SOCIAL STUDIES- Tues/Thurs Room 103

PLAY-IT SMART
After school tutorial program available for all high school athletes

LIBRARY
Open after school until 5:20pm Mondays through Thursdays and until
4:20pm on Fridays
Before school from 7:00am until 7:45am

ROOM 206-WRITING / MATH
COMPUTER LAB
Teacher referral addressing a specific weakness required for attendance. Certified teachers available after school from 2:30pm until 4:00pm (Tues and Fri) and 2:30pm until 5:00pm (Wed and Thurs)

SOPHOMORE ACADEMY
Homework Club staffed by volunteer teachers
Thursday, Room 216 from 2:30pm-3:30pm

REMEDIATION FOR ADVANCEMENT
English 10, US History I, and Geometry advanced credit
program/Students attend 2 hours per day for 60 days.
